Long - term residence employee card - quotas for 2022

The Government of the Czech Republic approved an amendment to Regulation No. 220/2019 Coll. (dated 26 August 2019), on the maximum number of applications for a visa for a stay of more than 90 days for the purpose of entrepreneurship, applications for a long-term residence permit for the purpose of investment and applications for an employee card that can be submitted at the embassy. The change in the government regulation enters into force on 1 January 2021 and consists in changing the annual quotas for the number of applications for employee cards.
The following annual quotas have been set for the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Abuja with effect from 1 January 2021.
Employee's card
Maximum number of applications that can be submitted within 1 year: 90 applications.
60 applications for the "Highly Qualified Worker Program" or the "Key and Scientific Staff Program".
30 applications for classic employee cards.
Long-term visa for entrepreneurship purposes - remains unchanged.
Maximum number of applications that can be submitted within 1 year: 12 applications.
4 applications for "Key and Scientific Staff Program".
8 applications for other long-term entrepreneurship visas.
