The 450th Anniversary of the Foundation of Ufa: Bank of Russia new commemorative coin (03.06.2024)

On 3 June 2024, the Bank of Russia issues a 3-ruble silver commemorative coin ‘The 450th Anniversary of the Foundation of Ufa’ of the Cities series.

The 3-ruble silver coin (fine metal content 31.1 g, fineness 925/1,000) has a round shape and is 39.0 mm in diameter.

The obverse and the reverse of the coin have a relief rim around the circumference.

The obverse of the coin features a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation and the inscriptions ‘?????????? ?????????’ (RUSSIAN FEDERATION), ‘???? ??????’ (BANK OF RUSSIA), the denomination of the coin ‘3 ?????’ (3 RUBLES), the year of issue ‘2024 ?.’ (2024), the chemical symbol of the metal according to Mendeleev’s Periodic Table of Elements, fineness, the Saint Petersburg Mint trademark, and fine metal content.

The reverse of the coin ‘The 450th Anniversary of the Foundation of Ufa’ (Catalogue No. 5111-0503) features a relief image of the city’s coat of arms and the architectural complex of the Ufa Soviet Square, laser treated for matte finishing, a relief image of Major General Minigali Shaymuratov and a relief inscription ‘UFA 450’ at the bottom. The top and bottom of the coin feature relief ornament elements, laser treated for matte finishing.

The edge of the coin is corrugated.

The coin is minted in proof quality.

The mintage of the coin is 3.0 thousand pcs.
